It is always good to gave a thermometer around when you feel a little under the weather. I have kids and this thermometer is a must have for all parents. I am so good with my thermometer that I,carry mines in my bag, or purse. This is very nice, it is very portable to have when myself or family member is running a temperature. It is easy to take a temperature with this. No more placing a thermometer in places that take a while to register. You take the temp outside the body and no longer have to wait for a temp, your temperature is easily displayed on this portable and easy to read thermometer. All parents young and old need at least one of these available., because I do.
